Did people wear more hats in the past because hair maintenance technology was in the pits? Was it the lack of savvy straighteners and wax that made people want to furnish their holy heads with lavish ornaments? Or was it just our clothing progression from ultra-formal to ultra-casual and now to everything that's in between...?
People don't wear enough hats nowadays. More hats people. More hats.
